Growing third party’s endorsement demonstrates candidate’s strength on the issues that matter to working- and middle-class families

The Working Families Party (WFP) has endorsed Ken Dow of Mellenville, NY for New York State Senate, 41st S.D., covering Dutchess and Columbia Counties.

According to Ken Dow, “The WFP endorsement affirms our shared commitment to improving the quality of life for working- and middle-class people here in the 41st S.D. The WFP motto of good jobs, good schools and good government reflects priorities that guide my candidacy, so I’m proud to appear on their ballot line.”

Said Karen Scharff, co-chair of the Capital District WFP Chapter, “The WFP endorsement is a seal of approval from the working families who make up our party. It lets voters know that Ken Dow will stand up for our values and fight for the issues that matter most to low-income, working and middle-class New Yorkers.”

Dow continued, “The WFP interview and endorsement process allowed me to show my commitment to issues that the Working Families Party is focused on, including tax fairness, green jobs and clean energy, and campaign finance reform. Addressing these issues is important to all of us here in New York, and I look forward to working together with the WFP in the days ahead.”
