Wager Concedes. Didi Barrett Wins 103AD

Rich Wager has conceded the race for 103rd Assembly District. Didi Barrett will be the first woman to represent the district and the first Democrat in many years.

The Columbia County Democratic Committee congratulates Ms. Barrett on a great campaign. We also thank the voters of Columbia and Dutchess Counties for placing their confidence in our new Assemblywoman.

Columbia County Democrats Overwhelmingly Endorse Julian Schreibman for Congress

The Columbia County Democratic Committee met on Saturday March 24th and endorsed Julian Schreibman as the Democratic candidate for Congress. Mr. Schreibman would face Rep. Chris Gibson in the newly configured 19th Congressional District.

Mr. Schreibman has a long history in law enforcement. At the CIA he received the Attorney General's Distinguished Service Award for assisting in the prosecution of four al Qaeda members for bombing US embassies. He also served as a federal prosecutor and as Assistant District Attorney in Ulster County.

So far Ulster, Dutchess and Greene Counties have also endorsed Mr. Schreibman.

Didi Barrett Sweeps Hudson

Assembly candidate Didi Barrett has swept the City of Hudson by a large margin. 

The total in Hudson was 433-131, a more than 3 to 1 margin.

Hudson Supervisors Unanimous in Their Support of Didi Barrett

All five of Hudson's Supervisors have endorsed Didi Barrett in the Special Election for the 103rd Assembly District seat.
